About Zenkai

Independent, hands-on, and honest about our scale.

Zenkai Interactive Studios is a small creative-technical studio in Ohio. We design, build, and operate interactive products with direct ownership of the work instead of trying to look like a large agency.

What that scale means

Small enough to stay close to the work.

Our current track record is 10 projects, with a combined user footprint of up to about 2,000 people. That is a focused scale, but it provides real-world product exposure and reinforces that launch is only the beginning: systems have to be maintained, users behave in unexpected ways, and small UX or operational problems can matter more than flashy features.

The studio works best when the project benefits from direct communication, a short decision path, and someone who can move between product thinking, interface work, implementation, and iteration without constant handoffs.

Built around real product ownership

Zenkai Online is the clearest example. The platform has roots going back to 2012 and today spans avatars, profiles, community features, virtual spaces, events, collectibles, and streaming. Operating it gives us a practical reference point for community software that has to keep working after launch.

Principles

How we want the studio to work.

Show the real thing

Use actual product visuals, current project counts, and numbers we can explain clearly.

Keep scope honest

A small studio should take on work it can serve well, communicate limits early, and avoid pretending every project needs to become enormous.

Stay useful after launch

Maintainability, moderation, operations, performance, and iteration matter as much as the presentation layer once real users arrive.

Work with us

If the project fits a small studio, we would rather say yes clearly than oversell.

Tell us what you are building, who it is for, what exists today, and where the hard parts are.
